Away From The Market
It is an expression that is used in two different scenarios when a buy or sell price is significantly different from the current market price.
A situation in which the bid on a limit order is lower than the present market price or the offer price is more than the present market price for a financial instrument.
Suppose that a stock is priced by the market at 500 USD. If the buy limit specified by an investor is 300, this is considered away from the market.
